Presentation Evaluation

Last Monday saw us as a group present all of our idea to Linda Hoy. Overall I was very pleased with how it went, Linda and her associate seemed very interested and were very positive about everything that we had to say throughout our presentation.

 

We talked with passion and confidence about our ideas and conveyed our intentions clearly, and when questions were asked we always had an answer. Linda’s only real concern seemed to be how our work would promote more interest in her book and how we would generate an audience for our piece of work, although we discussed how this was largely out of our remit we did also talk about ways how we could possibly achieve a large audience for our work. One particular example was making idea 2, our most preferable idea, available as a free app to target the wide audience of smart phone users.

 

Overall I am very happy with our presentation and Linda’s response and I am looking forward to diving into the project and creating something we can all be proud of.

Presentation Evaluation

The presentation, in my opinion went really well. I felt that with our preparation and understanding of ideas meant we were really able to sell them to the audience. Especially our main concept, the Interactive Book/Advertisement.

I tried my best to make sure that I knew every detail about the concept I was to pitch, the Interactive Advertisement, and I am sure that other group members did the same. I felt this was probably why we looked so confident and passionate about our ideas.

I also felt the use of the logo and a consecutive design flow through the slides made us look more professional as a group. It showed that we had taken the time to work on our presentation and get it to the best of standards. 

As Jaz mentioned Linda loved our main concept and I think our understanding of our ideas helped us truly convey the concept.

I do feel however some areas of the presentation could of been improved upon but I think if we begin working on our final presentation this week, as we discussed, we will have time to work more on aesthetics and professionalism.

Presentation Evaluation

After the Presentation as a group I feel so proud of us all, I do believe that we not only represented our ideas well but ourselves as well.

At first I was excited and nervous but as I got up there my confidence grew and grew, I did already feel that our ideas where clear enough to see and that enough examples of what could be done where shown clearly too.

I am glad that when asked questioned about our ideas we were able to provide answers straight away as our ideas were checked throughly.

I'm glad that the idea as a group we were passionate and excited about, Linda Hoy also agreed that this was her favourite and couldn't wait to see it. Although see doesn't see how this can be finished in time, however I did reassure her that it is possible as she has three student who are willing enough and also started on a sample which didn't take too long.

Overall, I'm happy with how the presentation went and feel like there wasn't much more we couldn't have given.
